Dr. Strange attended Towson State University on a Presidential Scholarship and was recognized as a Maryland Distinguished Scholar. She graduated summa cum laude in 1995 with a BS degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and graduated in 1999 with a Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
She met her husband (affectionately called Mr. Dr. Strange) and they moved to Atlanta to complete residency. Dr. Strange served as Chief Resident and graduated in 2001 from Atlanta Medical Center and is board-certified in family medicine. She stayed on as an attending for 3 years caring for patients of all ages both inpatient and outpatient.
After relocating to Naples, FL in 2005, she found her passion for working in urgent care and has done so ever since. She and her husband of 24 years share sons Ryan and Gavin and have lived in Southlake for 10 years. When she's not watching her boys play sports, she trains for sprint triathlons and loves traveling, scuba diving, and rescuing/ fostering dogs.
